cont. to Roller Coaster

So after I ran out of the work place my supervisor caught me going out the door and she had no idea what had went on that day since she was in a meeting.  I just told her my mom didn’t sound good and I had to go see her.  She looked concerned because they NEVER see me this way EVER.  I’m always the funny, happy go lucky girl in the office.  But today I was crying.

I tried to calm myself down as I drove to see my mom.  I kept listening to my music to lift my spirit but when a sad song came on, so did the tears.  I went to my apt. before I went to my parents house.  I HAD to clean my face up and put in eye drops so they couldn’t tell I was crying.  When I got there my mom was sitting up and eating.  I was happy to see that.  The bad news is they didn’t tap her to relieve the pressure, which meant ANOTHER NIGHT of pain and discomfort.

They said they would tap her the next morn at 8 am.  My dad dropped her off and she went in for the procedures.  If she had an infection, they would keep her in the hospital.  But if she didn’t, they would Tap her fluid and she could go home feeling  lil bit better.

She left me a message at 10 something saying that it was over and done.  She felt lighter and felt a whole lot better.

They took out 2 1/2 liters of fluid from her abdomen, that’s amazing.

Now she feels much MUCH better with the extra room to move.

Thank you all.
