Mommy and Me day…

Well it seems like things are getting back to normal in our lives. Mom is feeling better even though she still has the belly and has lost a lot of weight, she is feeling great! She is moving around quicker without the pain that she use to have in her back and around her ribs. Thursday she told me she was able to sleep on her belly for about 20 mins and she was soooo happy about that.  Mom said she wanted to wake up my dad to show him that she was lying on her belly but she held back :) lol

She also showed me how her stomach gives when she presses it. Before it would feel like a tight ball when pressed. Now you can push down on it and it actually goes down without much tension. I’m so glad she is feeling better and almost back to her old self.

After I came from work today I went over to the house, as usual, and she said she wanted to get some maternity pants since it’s getting a little cooler now here in Cali. So we went to a number of stores and they didn’t have a maternity section which was surprising. I was sure Marshall’s or TJ Maxx would have maternity but nope… I guess not. Ross had a lil section so she got 3 long pants for about 20 bucks! Bargain!!!! Anywho some lady in the  check-out line though my mom was prego and said “awwww you are so tiny, how do you feel?” My mom just smiled and said “I feel great” The same thing happened at another store we went to, everyone just assumes she’s pregnant and says “awwwwwww”. We just kinda go with it now. We’re going to have a whole story set up for people when they ask about the “baby”. After all my mom gets a kick out of people thinking she’s pregnant at her age.

That’s all for now.  Everything is going well and I’ll update with something new as soon as it happens.
