Mom went for her follow up appt today to check up on the ascites. After they took out fluid weeks ago, they wanted to make sure she didn’t get an infection again and that she’s doing o.k.
When she went to the hospital (she drove herself again) the doctor said “wow! You look good” :) she said “I feel good”.
They did the normal exam by pressing on her belly and she didn’t have any discomfort during the process. The doctor was excited. He said “Good! Everything is looking great, your stomach isn’t tight and you are doing well”
The doctor asked for a stole sample to check the colon for bleeding as a precaution, but other than that, everything went o.k.
We made plans to go to the Aquarium this weekend. :) I’m so excited. I love spending time with my mom. She’s also excited to do something different other than grocery shopping and going home. We also spoke about getting on our bikes again. She wants to start riding as early as Saturday! I’m all for it. Things are looking up! Keep her in your prayers :)
