it’s been 3 months since my mom had to go through a tap to relieve some of the pressure from the build up of fluid. During the past 3 days she’s been feeling like her belly is fulling up to the point where she needs to get some of it drained, because it’s so painful when it fills up. She called to make an appointment today but it won’t be until the 21st. She can’t wait that long. She’s going to try to call her Liver Specialist on Monday (the only day that he is there) to see if he can see her earlier.
She was in PAIN today from the built up fluid. I told her if we need to go to the emergency room, we will. Just so she will get some relief. She agreed. So if she can’t take the pain tomorrow, she will let us know and we will take her to emergency.
I’m praying that she will get a good nights rest tonight. She needs it.
